Mahmoud Hamadani’s new ‘Lyric Compositions’ exhibition encompasses richly detailed abstract ink on paper drawings.
Mahmoud Hamadani was born in Iran and currently works in New York, NY. After earning a degree in mathematics, he worked in a related field for several years. In 1992, he earned a Masters Degree in Public Administration at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, which lead to a position as political advisor with the United Nations in Afghanistan. He then turned his interests in complex systems to art. His first solo show was at Karen McCready Fine Art, New York, NY. His work is included in the collections of the British Museum, Shaw Pittman and Peter Selz.
