“Taking inspiration from my travels in the United Arab Emirates and Oman, I have tried to capture the essence of the landscape, be it the desert, the wadis, the mountains, the beautiful coastline, I find myself drawn to these ancient eroded opens spaces. These areas have a sense of timelessness. The emptiness and the sheer beauty makes me want to try and capture it in paint, be it working on location or back in my studio in Cornwall.” Paul Wadsworth
